I had fun at the beginning of the journey. Then I don't know what happened. The final nail in the coffin for me was the absence of prestige raid rewards.
This time around I had the belief that D2 would pick up where year 3 left off. Not a few steps behind vanilla. I am Jack's broken dream.
How are you guys finding the game at this point? How are you spending your time when online? Or are you taking a break till the expansion?
Edit: Trending. I would like to thank you all for your contributions. It isn't satisfying for me that this post has so many people in agreement. I respect that the developers put in long hours and massive amounts of energy to craft Destiny 2. I understand that the product at launch is a foundation that will be built on in time. However, when you review the constructive feedback and the similar ideas from a variety of Guardians. It is genuinely surprising that Bungie didn't anticipate these issues would eventuate. Sadly this culminates in a validation of the title. At this point in time "D2 is Disappointing".

Edited by JOYROCK: 10/22/2017 1:38:54 AMim glad i didnt buy the special edition , wont be buying the dlcs , when cod comes out see ya the f’uck later, itll be a long time to keep prestiging as in 1 week for 305 light and after raids there is nothing to do, game went downhill quick, so glad i didnt get the special edition, they announce the 4 season plan , just cosmetics smh no light increase, iron banner is coming back with no changes till season 2 , no light increase, new exotic ships that no one gives a f’uck about, new exotic emotes, new different types of ghosts lol again no light increase, dead orbit and the others are coming back , again no light increase, they just mentioned about cosmetic bullshit that no one gives a flying F’UCK about! f’uck this game!!

I'm done, iron banner was the last straw. I'll still lurk on the forums though.

Im done with this shit. I tried to defend the game. I tried my hardest. Everyone and anyone whos seen a single comment by me does. But this shit is inexcusable. almost 2 months, and nothing has so much as been specifically commented on. No balance changes has been made to buff any of the shit were complaining about. Instead we got some -blam!-ing cosmetics that will most likely just sit there to sap more money out of us. -blam!-ing bungie, stop treating me like a cash cow and get you're shit together. I wont be buying the DLC, and when anthem comes out, I wont be playing this game.

I think you are just another bandwagon hipster that thinks it is cool to bash the game. MUTED!
-
I love destiny 2 am I dissapointed with a lot of things yeah and right now there isn't much to do that's worth while and that's what's most disappointing but I already had bought the whole thing anyways. So hopefully it doesn't end up like the division

Truly streamers like goth have made ppl think d2 is okay we should not complain it solves nothing i mean damn yes it does we all need to stop playing and making excuses for d2 its just bad

I’m ok with mostly everything in the game outside of the progression system. There really is nothing to work/play for. Bungie handed you everything. I even appreciated that you needed to level your weapon/armor up in D1 to unlock all of the perks. It’s really not that hard to make a grind-able weapon system and honestly the foundation is there with mods. Just look at COD BO3 or B4, it’s awesome to unlock weapon perks and customize the weapon to your play style. For PvP, there really needs to be a RANKED playlist that keeps you working towards a personal/team goal. Literally, the ONLY reason I’m still playing is to improve my game and be the best I can be. Would be nice to actually be rewarded in-game for that effort.

People are disappointed with d2? First I’ve heard of it. I’m actually enjoying it. Is lethalviper posting under an alias now? Haven’t seen any of his useless posts in a few days now...
-
Like if you are tired of hearing these redundant posts all over the forums.
-
I like it, but I was expecting more. That being said, I’ll be patient. It’s in the Live teams’ hands now.
-
I am so beyond disappointed. I’m like disappointed cubed. No but in all seriousness I was way to excited for this game i thought it was going to be so damn good and now it’s broken beyond a reasonable time frame to keep my attention. Man destiny 1 was my favourite, most played game ever...Ive already quit playing d2 3 days ago. I’m gonna try it on pc so that’ll be fun again but with actual technology from 2017. But -blam!- I thought this game was going to be my main and now idk if I’m gonna stick around especially with trials cancelled till nov -blam!- that, that’s all I played.
-
First rule about this game being underwhelming, is you don't talk about this game being underwhelming.
-
I ran out of content, I want to raid but nobody will run it with me saying I'm a noob. My friends are usually too busy. I wish destiny would have more pvp content and SRL. More fun pvp content.

I'm just going to play D2 when events and DLC drop plus AC Origins is out next week

Edited by Nemesis: 10/22/2017 1:54:01 AMWell there's no one to blame but this toxic community. Destiny one all the cry babies cried enough that bungie catered to them only in this game.. this is why we have team shooting in crucible now, this is why there's no random rolls in weap... you all wanted to be in the same playing field as everyone else now look at this mess.. People complained the old raids was too hard now look at this glorified strike of a raid we have. This raid makes crota look hard lol and we know that was the easiest raid in D1. You all wished for this excuse of a game now you have it how do you feel? 49% of the player base is gone and only the core players like myself are here all those casuals you wanted to Carter to are gone till DLC.. Thx Bungie for thinking of us core players maybe if you listened to us maybe D2 would of ended up better.

Double liked

Disappointed at first but I'm starting to warm up to it
-
So I am going to downvote if it isn't disappointing?
-
It's feel like a swift kick in the nuts.
-
I like it. It's not perfect but I'm having fun apart from when I get the same exotics and I only want the tempest helm. But it's a decent game. Def got my monies worth
-
Not actually disappointed, but I agree with the prestige loot and "should have continued from year 3".
-
Everyone blames budgie but how many realize it's this community that killed destiny. Almost everything different between games is to satisfy everything the commu it complained about. Long waits for matchmaking. 2 playlists stream the players and gives a larger pool. That also tackles connection and skill based pools of players. Weapon balancing with static weapon it makes balance possible. Weapons before had to much variety where a couple would be op with the right roll. The casual players of the community wanted exotics to be more accessible. The raid. I can't explain. They tried something different it backfires. Patrols have meaning. Legendary and exotics are earnable thru public events. The lack of skill tree means it can be balanced. Even with perk options before most players used the same combinations anyway. It's set up for pvp balance.
-
What really bothers me is that it seems like the game knows what weapons you don't like, and gives you those exact weapons as the only means to raise your light. I HATE pulse rifles, and every time I turned in an exotic, or got a milestone done where I could raise my light, it gave me a pulse rifle. Every time.

Edited by Schostoppa: 10/22/2017 1:05:59 AMI had high hopes but was soon replaced by disappointment. Dear Bungie, I am Jack's complete lack of surprise. Atleast I didnt piss money away on the season pass.
