1 - Spawns
D1 never had the problems D2 has with spawns. I can be ADS and see people spawn right in front of me / I can spawn behind people / I can wipe out a team capping a point and then have them drop on me almost immediately. It's a mess.
2 -Shooting through walls
Maybe it's a netcode thing and the other player is seeing something different to me, but I repeatedly have moments where I'm in cover and clear of the line of sight - and then I die. You then see the shadow of the player behind the wall reloading. Whether the object isn't blocking the bullet - or I'm just not properly in sync with the other player, this needs to be fixed either way.
3 - Teamshoot / Aim assist
You're in a firefight with a clear kill in the pipeline - another enemy team mate steps close and your gun reticle drags off the guy you were slaying and turns on the other team mate, meaning you lose the kill and invariably die. If it's a team of 4 dancing around in front of you, you may as well shoot yourself in the face. Aim assist is not my friend here!
Fix these 3 things and the game will probably be worth playing long term. If you think it's more important to add new emotes / pretty space ships and other cosmetic paraphernalia as a priority, then you've got this all wrong.

All of these were in D1. By the end of D1 ppl had spawns memorized and knew exactly how to exploit the system. Watch some vids from Cool guy if you don't believe me. Shooting through walls.... D1 iron banner. That's when you'd see the most garbage connections. Aim assist saved ppl in D1 as well. I want to say D1 had stronger aim assist. All old issues that should've been addressed or fixed in some way. The hybrid server thing didn't do it. No longer letting us see how bad the other players' connections are surely didn't do it.
