I have something to say. (Serious post incoming)

Umm, this is going to be a long(-ish) story, so just bear with me. This started last Wednesday. For the first time in years, I was able to sleep like a log. But the days after that has just been quite simply, nightmarish. The day after I got some pretty intense sleep paralysis episodes. And ever since have been nervous and scared, thus causing depression, sleep deprivation and negativity. Which is why I'm been trying to be positive, it's quickly catching up, as you can tell. These aren't my first ones, but it adds up. The more you get, the worse your mental state becomes. So please, try not to actively chase them, you'll regret it in the end. You may (I bolded that for an obvious reason) have noticed a barrage of joke threads, well the truth is. That's how I cope with stuff like this. By making people laugh, I smile. And forget whatevers causing me grief. It helps to drown it out, is what I'm trying to say. I may just need a brake from work, but what I can tell you guys for certain, is that I'm not feeling well. If you don't like my joke threads, that's fine. I don't mind. I'm so tired. Sorry to go all emo and attention w***ish, but I thought you guys should know the truth. I like you guys (no homo). You all deserve that much... I'll break through this, but for now, I just need to try to laugh and smile, that's all. :) Have a nice afternoon/evening everyone!

I've experienced episodes of sleep paralysis fairly often to whereas I have found ways to somewhat prevent them. Although not foolproof, try to reduce sugar or stimulant intake before bed, and avoid sleeping on your back. The times that I have woke up to or fell asleep into an episode, I've found myself on my back and have heard from others the very same. It may or may not work for you, but who knows.
And no, sleeping during daylight hours won't stop them. They're much worse.
