I'm positive that a lot of these points will match the majority of the community's concerns for D2's current state. I had some of these listed down a week ago in one of my dumb drawing pads but felt like posting them here.
• Guided Games is redundant. Not only because the prolonged waiting times or the ticket system, but because there are simply far more players seeking guidance than there are players wanting to guide those players through Nightfalls and Raids. It's unfortunate, but that is the reality.
• The spawn locations in PvP, particularly in Control, have been laughable. (Iron Banner has been an unpleasant example of this.) The flinch caused by the High Calibre Rounds perk is too aggressive and is currently dominating the Crucible.
• The Iron Banner loot system is horrendous. Why are there non-Iron Banner loot dropping from packages? Why the choice to go back to re-skins for the IB weapons? (What happened to the Rise of Iron gun models?)
• The "Endgame" is pretty much nonexistent. There's not much incentive to grind for anything as soon as you hit the maximum Power level. There aren't as many weapons as I originally thought there would be, so once I have completed my collection of guns, some of which I may never use because their perks aren't great (which should not be the case), what then? Collect tokens, since the game heavily revolves around those? Collect one-time-use shaders?
Perhaps I'm not doing myself any favors by treating this game as an MMORPG and not a "Collection Game" as Luke Smith stated, but I want an excuse to sink thousands of hours into it like I did with the first Destiny. Maybe that was their intention from the get-go and if that's the case, fine, I respect their decision...
...but I can't say I'm not disappointed.
