Would definitely be useful. They could also do something about them taking an eternity to load during an activity, which is a real problem when enemies often spawn in close proximity and get the drop on you (this is especially noticeable in the nightfall and PvP as a whole). ... and maybe make them reward you with more than the equivalent of a couple of destination chests (Dailies not withstanding).
