He was took on when Destiny started going downhill.
Now that Destiny 2 is going down the toilet faster than the result of eating a Chicken Vindaloo, DeeJ is very rarely seen and is letting Cozmo take all the backlash.
Thoughts?

Deej is smart. Cozmo is his b........
buddy
You're thinking of Luke Smith.

The Darkness Consumed You...

Deej used to make really dumb comments (similar to the recent "friendship end game" comments) to the point where everything he said got ripped apart and nobody believed anything he said. Also, he lied his ass off leading into the release of D1 (still hilarious YouTube videos of him out there). Cozmo, I think, was hired because Deej was cementing a reputation as a BS spin artist for Bungie. Just my opinion though, I might be wrong.

Edited by ouate2phoque76: 10/13/2017 1:57:21 PMNo. Unlike Deej he's actually trying to do a minimum of actual community management (aka his job). Deej is now more a communications guy it seems (of the "open-mouth-insert-foot" variety it seems) Corporate culture / executive directions do matter where comms (internal or external) and ultimately it's not their fault community relations are just not an actual priority / well managed at bungie.

Cozmo is an alright guy. He's just not very good at his job. No offense, Cozmo.

Edited by TrooperHR: 10/14/2017 10:19:14 AMHe was hired because Deej is getting too old to deal with angry kids all day. He's been in hiding since 2015.

I think that trying to make statements about real people's jobs, is not feedback for the game and it doesnt contribute directly into naking the game better.. No offense, but we as customers cant see behind the curtains of destiny 2, and we sure as hell dont got the right to say who is what and who should be fired. However, the feedback is terrible from Bungie, and i do believe that a community manager should have the balls to also admit what is wrong with the game.

Cozmo won't be too bothered either way. He pops up on here now and again, with cryptic answer about feeding back. Every month he takes the paycheck and lives his life. Most can work out he didn't f**k the game up. I'm proud he's at least getting something from Bungie. He's doing way better than any of us consumers.

Edited by CarneAsadaMilk: 10/12/2017 11:31:38 PMI think they may have hired him to be the pool boy. They don't have a pool in the office, but they require him to walk around shirtless in board shorts and carry a skimmer. Occasionally Deej asks him to apply sunblock to his left cheek. Sensually. Not that cheek!

Fire everyone who fixed everything that wasn't broken.

No bungie lost a bet and he was the prize.
