We bought D1 and instantly recognize it wasn't the game we thought. We all stuck around, built a community, communicated to Bungie what we wanted to see. We were patient and appreciative of their hard work and willingness to get the game to a state that we were really enjoying. Was it perfect? No. Was it fun? Hell yes. It transformed into a game that set the framework for a great sequel.
But what happened? They went back to the drawing board and literally reworked how the entire game functions. But why?
What really bums me out most is that we all had to deal with the growing pains of Destiny 1 for three years. Now, by the way the community looks, we are right back where we were at the start of Destiny 1.

We, the community who stuck around.
