Taken King dlc-xbox one
Hi, i just got an xbox one and i'm currently playing the trial mode of destiny. i played the full game on xbox 360 and i bought the taken king dlc. My question is do i have to buy the taken king dlc again when i buy the full version of xbox one destiny?

Didn't they just announce somewhere that the destiny DLC is free for all players now?

Yes, you'll have to rebuy it; it was never part of the freebie upgrade (and even the freebie upgrade was phased out with the release of Destiny: The Collection). You'll want to purchase Destiny: The Collection on Xbox One; it'll come with all DLC and the main game. Also note that if you purchase it physically, you will have to use the disk; if you want to play Destiny entirely digital, you'll want to buy it digitally; you can't later purchase just the base game digitally on its own as it's only available in the Destiny: The Collection bundle. So if you plan on being all digital, buy it from the start instead of wasting money buying it twice.

Yes, the taken king doesn't transfer for free. If you want to play destiny 1 then buy the collection however development has stopped since destiny 2 came out. Plus finding groups will take abit longer.
