Game improvements: Weapons, customization, grind, glimmer, and D1

Let me start out by saying, I enjoy the game. Why? Because it's just like Destiny one, plus or minus a few things, and I loved Destiny one. A lot of people on here are writing about a lack of grind, there not being as much content as Destiny 1, etc. A lot of these people are forgetting how Destiny 1 was built, weekly updates for 3 years and 4 DLCs. It became great. Given that, I'll give Bungie the benefit of the doubt, and assume challenges, more guns, events, etc. will be coming as time goes on, and we'll start to see these roll out within the next few weeks. Here are some fundamental thoughts as this game develops. Weapons: ABOVE ALL ELSE IN THIS POST, THE BIG CHANGE THAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN IS: shotguns and snipers need to be SECONDARY weapons. They are fun, essential and demand certain play styles that involve more ammo. I get the idea, I assume it was to balance pvp guns, but this was not the way to do it. In no way should these guns be in the same class as a gjallarhorn. Fix it. Also, I'll assume LMGs and a better exotic system are on the way. Customization: I like the idea of independent shaders, but at the same time, I hate it. If we could pick say "arms" and have it not be tied to a specific piece of armor, that would be ideal. In a grind game, we tend to change our armor around a decent bit, and that makes this system difficult. Also, a shader dealer (for glimmer) like in D1 is needed (nothing too fancy, just some choices). (love the shaders for sparrow and ship btw, nice job on that). Grindables: I assume more is to come, but things like dead ghosts and calcified fragments added another grind level to D1, so seeing something else like this (ideally with some sort of exotic incentive) would be nice. Glimmer: like the last game, its almost worthless. the currency in this game is essentially useless. Let us buy with it. Offer things we want (guns, armor, shaders, reputation, experience, tickets to some sort of event) and price them higher if need be. If you are going to have a monetary system in a game, it should be usable. One last note, this game does struggle a little bit to stand alone from D1, we loved it, but we need to see something to make it stand out. New subclasses would have been a good choice, not just improvements (these could still be added). A new type of enemy would help too (and not like SIVA where it was just fallen retextured). I have hope for this game, please don't let us down.
