New monarchy and FWC werent much better in terms of gear.
Most of the weapons from each faction was just generic duplicate crap you get from normally grinding.
I ONLY went to dead orbit for dire promise, and I really like it.
The only 150 rpm handcannon I would say is usable outside of...10 feet...

The fwc auto rifle and scout melt in pvp fam Straight monsters

Uriels gift and prosecutor do too. Mida is also pretty damn good. I basically had no reason to do those factions because I already had a version of those weapons that are better. Hasn't been a good 150 rpm handcannon so I gladly went for it and wasn't disappointed.

New Monarchy has the best slug shotgun in the game.. easily

I never really cared for shotguns so I didn't even think about it, but when is a shotgun ever better than...say...a fusion rifle (where has the world gone where I can actually use fusion rifles in an argument)

Fusions are fun too but I loved The Chaperone

It was good until they nerfed shotguns, rip chaperone, the only balanced shotgun ;-;
