So why is everyone acting surprised and getting upset?
-
Idk, my guess is there are an abundance of people who strongly dislike Dead Orbit. Personally, I hate Dead Orbit. I hate their colors, their weapons, armor, lore and anything in between. But I still knew they would win. Am I disappointed? Yes. Do I accept defeat on behalf of New Monarchy? Temporarily. Will I contribute more to my faction in the next rally? Depends on the weapon tbh, I didn't care for another sidearm. Trash talk should be expected for these Faction Rallies. Whining, however, should not.

Point?

Emos weren't the quiet voter
-
Most of the chatter on here was in support to NM and FWC projecting their abandonment issues against dead orbit. Most chatter afterwards has been salt. Misrepresentation of the masses.

Edited by Venomous47: 10/3/2017 10:01:37 PMThe point is there was no silent voters type deal going on when we knew Dead Orbit was and has been the most popular Faction since they were introduced in Destiny 1. These forums are all over Dead Orbit.

No surprise then why the salt?
-
Edited by Venomous47: 10/3/2017 10:36:31 PMThe salt is obviously coming from hardcore FWC and NM players. They were complaining during the event, so obviously they were going to come here and complain afterwards as well.

Glad we agree...

Majority all 3 factions were silent voters. Only a select few bad apples. So saying "silent voters strike again" doesn't make any since because the silent voters for NM and FWC didn't strike anything.

It's in reference to polling. Which, in practice, is a small sample size meant to represent the masses. So nothing you have mentioned is even relevant to my analogy, all of which break down at some point.
