16 RepliesSalty as everyone is about it I really don't think of dead orbit as cowards. Its a foolish idea to put your entire species in one place that's constantly under siege, one error and suddenly you've gone extinct. Dead orbit is all about expansion: settling and colonizing other worlds. Exploration is a big part of that, and my reason for joining them - my hunter would be the kind of character to live on a ship at the edge of space looking for things.

And this is why you preview the engram, find out what 4 weapons you'd rather have the chance to obtain, and pick that faction. Then work on getting them. I'm quite happy after getting the 4 NM weapons, and not in the least bit perturbed by the fact DO won. Just remember, the guns will (most likely) get cycled through for the next Faction Rallies, and we should get the chance to obtain whatever we want. [spoiler]Or just pick all 3 and get them all. I only have 1 Guardian.[/spoiler]

5 RepliesI'm sure that after DO's third win in a row that the whole system will get an overhaul. Mainly because you can't trust people to try and win for their less popular faction instead of picking the one they think will win for an easier time.

2 RepliesNo actual salt. If you choose to be part of the faction which openly states earth is a broken shell and should have a mass exodus and then choose who gets to live past that point? You chose anarchy of the highest order. Sorry, but that speaks more to dead orbit followers then anything else. At least everyone knows where they stand.

So this means every rally faction going forward, Dead Orbit will have to have the worst weapons and the ugliest armor sets just for FWC/NM to stand a snowballs chance....wow. Scratch that, that is exactly what happen this round along with a FWC glitch and it still didnt matter. Sounds like the concept of faction rallies just died on the vine in its first week.
