Bungie, it’s against your ToS for people to post in the recruitment forum advertising paid trials carries as per this snippet under USE OF COMMUNICATION SERVICES...
“Advertise or offer to sell or buy any goods or services for any business purpose, unless such Communication Service specifically allows such messages.”
I and other forum goers I’m sure see plenty of recruitment posts offering paid trials carries that brazenly display PRICES of said carries.
If this isn’t a bold and blatant breach of your ToS, idk what is.
Bungie, how does it make you feel as a company that people are charging others (who opt to pay) for a service via your game that cannot be guaranteed. It is up to you to either:
A) put your foot down and make a statement against said paid trials carries
B) make a statement disregarding paid trials carries and accept them as a viable part of the Destiny franchise
What is your view on the subject matter Bungie? Your silence is deafening.

If “players” want to waste their money on paid carries go ahead. But at least get these paid carries ads out of the companion app. Won’t be long till half the page is filled with em.
-
-
What about streamers like whisyouluck? He openly charges 50 bucks for a flawlessrun.. If its illegal he couldnt do that amiright? Plus theres noway to prove. People just make a fake account for posting and handle the rest when giys message them. It happens in every game.
-
Paid service that doesn't guarantee results? Seems familiar...
Looking at you Eververse
-
I mind my business and dont care what people do with their money. You should try this.
-
The fact that anyone would pay to go flawless is pretty funny. It’s a video game I mean seriously. Lmao
-
Why the hell would someone pay for trials carries when you could just join a populated clan and get a Trials + Raid engrams FREE every week?
-
-
Why do you care? If you dont want to get carried then dont pay to get carried. Just use the same logic you would apply to everything else in day to day life such as: - If you dont like drugs, dont buy drugs. - If you are allergic to nuts, dont buy snickers, almond joys, etc. - If you dont like sex, dont buy hookers. - If you dont like pineapple on your pizza then dont buy pizza with pineapples on it. At first it may difficult but you just keep practicing not giving your money to people who are offering things you dont want and eventually it becomes second nature.
-
I second this. Last week I saw 10+ posts about providing a paid trial carry most of which ran from 10-20 bucks. Then there was one for $45! $45! Like if that is banned worthy you guys need to step up your game.

Edited by PR4X1S: 10/3/2017 7:53:53 PMIt was always bad that someone would pay for it, but in Destiny 2 the weapons and especially the armor certainly DON'T look worth paying for. I'm Destiny 1 I would see someone in a full set of trials armor and look at it enviously, Totally the opposite in destiny 2, I kinda go 😒 meh.
-
The same people who pay for trials carries paid to lose their virginity
-
I got banned for that before so dont worry theyre watching... always watching. :(
-
awwww couldn’t go flawless? booo -blam!-ing hoooo
-
Sure it’s silly but why do you care?
-
C) fix trials matchmaking
-
Edited by oPROFESSIONALo: 10/4/2017 9:05:35 AMWon't happen. No way would they witch hunt.. Shit all your top fav streamers basically do paid carries all weekend. Instead of begging they are paid by subs. So if you did witch hunt bungie would have to go after them.
-
Bungie will not respond nor do they care. People are DDoS trials for money and carries and they still havent dropped their fake banhammer. You want to prevent these players from doing paid trials, report them to Sony/Microsoft. i have had over 50 players banned in D1 on Playstation. Up to the rest of you to do the same or not.
-
I tried to bring this to light before destiny 1 ended you know what I got in return trials scrubs defending those that do it saying it's for charity and they end up being trolling trial scrubs.
-
Solicitation is against the Code of Conduct on Bungie.net, which is a shortened version of the Terms of Use. Please report any thread you see offering a paid service. The moderators and I would appreciate it. Also, I am a volunteer and do not work for Bungie, so I can't comment on what you're asking.
-
I'm shocked people are paying up to $80 for a carry... But that's how my friend bought a car so yay trials money for him lol.
-
If you have to play to go flawless you're a scrub, period
-
Strictly speaking, paid Trials carries are not a service for business purposes. But I agree that advertising for them is against the spirit of the ToS if not technically against the letter.
-
Leave them alone. Even if they stop accepting cash, they still have ability to play and block us scrubs from flawless glory
-
Except that that very snippet mainly targets attempts to create a substantial profit via a business. The amount of money any given streamer makes from fools doesn't even register on bungies radar. As long as these sales of carries dont interfere with bungies profits there is not problem.
-
Bungee will ban/restrict people who post on the forum offering to carry for money but for them to do that people have to report the posts
