yo, i'm going to periodically release spooky stories until halloween. enjoy
Know that i have been happily married for five years now and at this point, I think me and my wife have no secrets from each other. So one day i am sitting on the couch checking my B.net. My wife comes along and says 'Oh, i didn't know that you where on that.' I say 'Honey, how do you know what b.net is?' Blushing, she said 'i am on b.net from time to time.' Afraid that we might have insulted each other beyond repair, we agreed never to share our usernames. We were fine until a few months later. One brisk fall morning, I snuggled up against my wife relishing her scent and warmth. After a few minutes i asked her what she was doing, while peering over her shoulder. 'nothing', she replied as she hid her phone in her nightshirt. Seeing that my birth day was close i didn't think another thing about it, and i went back to snuggling. then one day i came home from work to find my wife typing furiously away at her laptop. this time i made it all of the way around the couch to see that she was on B.net before i could snatch away her username she slammed her laptop shut. 'Honey, i said, 'Tell me your username.' She glared me in the eye and said sternly. 'We agreed remember! we will not share usernames.' 'okay' i said even though my dreadful curiosity was peaked beyond the point of no return. That night as my wife slept, i stole away to her laptop to find out her b.net. imagine my nervous breathing, the clammy feeling of my skin. my heart pounding as her computer booted up. i clicked the internet browser icon and slowly typed bungie.net my soul was burning with fear, as b.net loaded i shivered with dreaded anticipation. Then i find, to my great horror the white skull-and-crossbones on the pink background of my wife's profile picture and my greatest fear was confirmed. My wife, Is Mad Max!
The shower steam swirled and spun. She had been in their for 15 minutes now. Her skin warm and moist. Her hair still covered in lingering shampoo. Her loneliness consumed her. No friends, no family, no pets allowed. Stupid landlord. The water was getting colder by the second. She turned the knob and the stream ceased; wrapping herself in a towel and pulling back the curtain. Oh, someone left her a note writen in the steam on the mirror. She chuckled remembering the days where her siblings played with her like that... ...And then the sudden realization that she lived alone. The words left on the mirror still haunt her to this day.
