That's a completely illogical fallacy "you're already grinding so there might as well be more that's unnecessary"

It's not illogical. Everything you're doing in Destiny is about grinding. Adventures, patrols, quests, strikes, public events, missions, etc. You're always getting legendary engrams or legendary rewards for leveling up vendors and whatnot. So why not have a broader scope of rewards? Seems logical to me.

Edited by Corbin1234: 9/26/2017 9:31:49 PMExcept it is illogical, intentionally ignoring my point doesn't make it disappear, every gun being worthless except for the perfect roll isn't rewarding and it's not a progressive kind of grind it's just senseless and you'll most likely not get it, this is the entire reason why mods were created. Doing the same thing hundreds of times isn't enjoyable or content.

No, the "God roll" wasn't the only good roll. There were plenty of good perks that were better than the standard vendor perks. Also, mods are a lazy/cheap replacement. They literally only allow you to change the element of a energy or power weapon.

Except they were majority of guns were absolutely worthless unless you had the god roll, in glad that's gone for good it made it impossible in crucible because lucky people had the advantage, it's why they removed the manual rerolls

I was never on board with the manual reforging. That was stupid. I feel that every weapon type should at the very least have a small pool of viable perks. There were some perks that were just trash in D1, we can both agree on that Haha, but there were lots of good, useful perks depending on the weapon type. Static rolls are just boring to me. I used to love getting a legendary engram and hoping for a good roll. Bungie even figured out how to make legendary engrams useless. Gotta give it to them Haha
