Perfect gun roll ruined my desire to play D1 lol.
It created an environment where the only thing you do is grind for pvp advantage. PVE doesn't require god rolls bc it's easy. When you build a game around grinding, either 2 things happen. 1. You grind, you get what you want...you continue to grind. 2. You grind, you don't ever get what you want, you burn out and you quit and go play something else.
I do not enjoy running strikes 100+ times.
I do not enjoy getting the same guns with shit perks 100+ times
I do not enjoy rolling a dice for gear...bc you didn't earn shit...you got lucky -.-
For those that do...awesome, you'll do great in life...as an accountant. Because repetition obviously doesn't bore you but it bores me. :(

In other words, you want the same thing as everyone else for a fraction of the work. I saw you troll someone else's post on this thread calling them a snowflake, so before you get all butt sore that you got called out for being a filthy casual, do yourself a favor... Take a minute to grasp the fact that some people are hardcore players and some are not. And in no way should a hardcore player have no tangible reason to play more than a casual player. You're a casual player? Great. Then younger rewarded for playing casually. No one is forcing you to do 100+ strikes if you don't have the time or desire to do so.

Yeah, I'm the filthy casual that has 3 300+ characters lol. I haven't even done this week's shit yet. You caught me XD I think you're confused. Grinding countless hours doesn't make you 'hardcore.' I'll gladly play countless hours of raids, trials and even crucible. What I refuse to do is grind countless hours for a weapon that gives me a noticeable advantage in crucible. Because grinding is not fun. Do you not remember shot package shotguns? Do you not remember 1 shot efrideets? Do you not remember luck in the chamber snipes? Yeah, let's bring those back...because you know...those were such fun times.

If you're not willing to put in as much time to get something as someone else's that makes you more casual in comparison, period.

Except rolls are random so someone can put in 10000 hours and not have it while someone can get lucky and get it first try. So what are you saying? I put in 10000 hours, couldn't get it got burned out and gave up on the game and I'm a filthy casual while your punk ass got it in 400 hours and you're f*king hardcore, GTFO here with that logic lmao.
