What do you guys think about the first Raid on D2? Is it what you expected it to be? Was it a let down? How many times have you beaten it so far since it’s been out?? It’s been out for a little bit now so I’m sure almost everyone has gotten a chance to beat it at least once. I actually just beat it my first time over the weekend with some buddies of mine and the satisfaction of getting Calus finished off was incredible. Talking about the different types of challenges you have to go through to get to the main boss, in my opinion, was a great idea. I mainly like how it’s not the same thing from D1. I like how they changed it up and made it a couple different obstacles you had to go through to be able to get to Calus. What do you all think about the different obstacles you have to go through to get to Calus? Boring? Tedious?
What do you all think is the best out of this Raid? What’s the worst? What could be better? Also, another question is what do you like about this Raid that wasn’t in any of the previous raids from D1?

Edited by ThargorDraconis: 9/26/2017 7:00:24 PMPersonal opinion, I don't really care for the raid. Beat it once and when I feel like doing it again I will probably just grab a calus checkpoint solely for raid gear. While some of the mechanics are not difficult they just don't serve any purpose. Limited revives is stupid, this is normal mode. No reason for dialing up the difficulty so much on a normal mode raid. Insta wipe if someone isn't revived fast enough is probably the worst mechanic I have seen from Bungie yet. Overall with the rediculous difficulty bump I just don't have the drive to do it over and over again like I did in Destiny 1. Normal mode raid should be there to learn mechanics and earn some gear to help get you ready for prestige mode. It should not be a wipe every time one person dies due to an insane amount of over powered bullet sponge adds. Between the glitches and the over the top difficulty boost the raid just isn't enjoyable for me. Again, this is my personal opinion, it may differ from yours and that's just fine. Before you bash people try to keep in mind that some people may not be as skilled a player as you or they might just have a physical reason for not being able to play at the level of play you can.
