Because i would.
I would in two seconds, without any degree of hesitation.
We lost weapons/blessings of light.
We lost our cooldown speed, the old defender had the quickest super cooldown speed in the game at just over 3 min if you set it up right.
We lost saint-14. not an every day exotic but it had it's places.
Bubble is now almost useless in every way other than OMG i'm about to die.
But all the forum salt miners are going to say well defender is op now cuz they have the captain america shield.
Well I say keep the shield, it is a horrible roaming super, and the shield throw sucks. If you miss the melee swing you spring backwards to where you were before you started the strike. If you want a roaming super run hammers or the new striker class.
WHO'S WITH ME!!
ps, bring back saint-14 and ruinwings

Edited by StrawDog_16: 10/4/2017 12:47:09 AMI definitely would, in a second!

Edited by TheShadow-cali: 10/1/2017 5:38:23 PMAny day... My Titan is not supposed to feel like a Hunter, and my warlock shouldn't look like, that i'm also sure of that it will feel like a titan throwing his hammer. When D1 was released our Guardians were unique that separated one from the other. PvP gamers made short work of that.

We need an exotic so we can shoot through the bubble.

Edited by killer manV07: 9/28/2017 5:26:19 PMWe still have the Defender Bubble in Destiny 2, Check the upgrades for the Sentinel and you'll see it, It's a different Combo of buttons to activate it. It's still as effective as it was In D1
-
Yessss.
-
See, I read this and think "
why did she have to leave?
" and "
why can't things just be like they used to be?
"
-
Bonjour mi capitan
-
Yes why not bring everything back so we can play destiny 1 all over again 😉
-
I would in 2 seconds also. Use to play almost exclusively defender. Now i never touch it.
-
Bubble is a good way to troll. Put the bubble on Calus when the shield is being taken down at the last stage. Lmao
-
WTF don't you realise you can create a bubble.
-
Edited by hellcat420: 9/29/2017 8:25:42 PMSure, cause I won't touch either subclass. All I want is old foh and helm of inmost light back lol.
-
No.... I would just prefer to give the Sentinels a third attunement (probably DLC), that becomes more of a Defender class for support than the offense they provide now. Fact was Defenders were limited for offensive output in D1. They were great for team play & support, but they offered very little in the way of offense aside from grenades. All 4 raids, wanted a bubble titan instead of the other 2 subclasses. It became a subclass that was almost a crutch, and there was really no reason to bring a Striker other than arc burn. So I rather Bungie create 3rd attunements for each subclass and add support to the Sentinel

Edited by BaneMann: 9/30/2017 1:12:02 AM1000% percent my Titan brother!!! Saint 14 is deeply missed!😭💔

As a hunter main, I would love to have a titan bubble back. It was the best support class in the game. Now only sun breaker with the cheastplate xur is selling as of current (date: Sept 29 2017) is the most useful thind a titan can run because of ad clearing. So in the long run the bubble would be great to have back, but I do love the sheild too.

Edited by Vortx4: 9/29/2017 4:08:25 AMHonestly, lets consider this. 1: The bubble tree makes you lose some useful offensive capabilities, like shield bash 2: Defender bubble takes your entire super. So it stands to reason that the new defender bubble would be at least as good as D1 to make up for this right? Wrong. 3: Ward of Dawn now lasts for shorter than D1, it feels like. Definitely not as long as bastion. 4: The bubble has trashy perks on it, e.g. Armor of light only. Imo, they should keep it as is, but: increase the ward's duration to bastion level or longer, and give the bubble armor of light INSIDE the bubble but blessing without. Essentially, a stronger overshield inside but a weaker one stayes with you when you go outside of it. I mean, come on. It's a super. At least give it more use than a temporary regeneration area that lasts for less than 30 seconds! Make it actually super. It should give an impenetrable safe zone with armor (which it already does) but also give a combat advantage with blessing. Sorry, rant over. It just annoys me.

Yes yes. A million times yes. Please bungie, make this happen and I'll start playing destiny 2 again.

Hmm that's a tough one, personally I haven't played enough of my defender Titan to make a conclusive decision, however, I would give up my captain america shield to have my grandma back :(. She was the pillar of our family and no matter what drama anyone was going through, she'd keep us all together. But last year she got into a fight on the bus and got knocked tf out, had a stroke and since then required professional care. Anyway, about a week ago in her care facility, the nurses accidentally left the security door open and she got out according to the CCTV. So, we're all worried sick because no1 has seen her since and she hasnt gone back to her old house. Police won't file her as a missing person due to some discrepancy about her being the responsibility of a private institution as opposed to state care, so if anyone sees a disoriented woman in her mid-80s with green woolen slippers and a large stainless steel kettle that she took from the facility kitchen prior to her departure, please hmu. Other than that, personally I'm not a fan of the lack of ability/trait selection flexibility for the subclasses. I feel very restricted as opposed to D1, where i could mix and match different skills to create different combinations of synergy.

Titans suck as a support now
-
horrible roaming super
lol r u a comedian
-
Nope. It's okay in pve. but I like how defender plays in pvp now.
-
Never was a Bubble Bro but it was handy. Isn't there still a bubble on the Sentinel subclass? It isn't the same? I've run Striker since I unlocked it so I didn't spend a whole lot of time on Sentinel.
-
Warlocks now have the weapons of light/blessing of light in the rifts
-
Edited by KannibalKlown: 9/29/2017 3:47:52 AMBubble bro Lord of wolves No backup plans Nothing further needed. Pve and pvp were great The only gear I miss from D1 besides nothing-manacles
-
It was extremely fun punching a blade dancer to death with armor of light.
