It works well for static pages (Wikipedia, PC Gamer) as well as Facebook/Twitter. You can click any of the blurred content to unhide them, or disable/re-enable the extension at the click of a button. It won't have a noticeable impact on your browsing experience -- except if you end up on a page full of spoilers -- cough cough Destiny Twitter/Facebook page cough cough (why would you go there if you wanted to avoid spoilers in the first place?)
