I guess it's already a known issue that some folks have a lot of problems with their controllers analogue sticks' DeadZones, especially within Destiny.
I personally have one controller that has a slight "farer" outer deadzone to the right on the right stick than to the left of the right stick. This results in the view turning waaay slower to the right than to the left (I have to press R3 slightly to get the 100% spin to the right, tho)... and guess what, only within Destiny. My other controller works fine and as said already, the other one only needs an outer deadzone adjustment within Destiny... no other game shows this issue - and I own almost every PS4 game out there, especially FPSs.
Now for the inner DeadZone... for me personally it is "ok", but if you test it out, then you will notice that it could react a bit earlier on subtle movements compared to how it does now. You will find tons of videos for the XBox users out there where it really looks like the inner deadzone being completely rubbish, especially compared to the one I experience on the PS4.
So, Bungie, why not just give us four little settings within the options menu to allow the inner and outer dead zones of both sticks to be adjusted as the player (or the hardware) desires?
I guess Halo had such settings, so why not implement them in Destiny too. Shouldn't be too much of a hassle actually and would please a lot of people out there I bet.
Please consider.

100% agree, the inner dead zone is way to large. Only thing that I hate about the game.
