Justice for Devrim Kay
We all know Devrim, the handsome well spoken gentleman from the EDZ with the decked out NLB.
He has been nothing but helpful and kind to us guardians in our recent adventures, giving us loot as well as witty comments on our endeavors.
Among his pile of goodies in which he trades to us for EDZ tokens are pieces of the "Wildwood" set, a special set of armor which we have been told he made himself. Sporting various pieces of survival equipment and a wicked woodland camo colouration, it has been a sought after favourite for a majority of guardians so far. But there has been an injustice...
We were recently shown images of the armor sets for next weeks "Faction rally" and it seems the well known group "Dead Orbit" has some answering to do.
Among those images were Devrims own Wildwood armor pieces, covered in Dead Orbit logos.
It seems that Arach Jalaal, the man who is so insistent on moving on from our own planet earth, was so lazy that he could not be bothered to create his own gear for the faction. And with a huge display of hypocrisy he couldn't even leave earth to steal someone else's designs.
Next week Jalaal will be offering stolen set pieces as rewards for new recruits to his faction, while giving Devrim, a sound protector of the planet they wish to abandon, no credit whatsoever.
This has been a brutally lazy and hypocritical move by Dead Orbit, and I for one demand that they return the gear to the EDZ and issue Devrim a formal apology. They have proven themselves to be no better than Fallen scavengers and do not deserve guardian support.
(If there are any guardians out there who possess the "Lawyer" subclass please contact Devrim Kay in the EDZ as he wishes to take action on the matter)

Actually if you played Destiny 1 at all, the specific Dead Orbit armor you got from rep packages is pretty much the set you get now with the Faction War going on. So DO wasn't lazy and copying Devrim. Devrim was lazy and copied vintage old school DO armor that already existed. Sorry.

Seriously, I love Devrim, but he is [u]surrounded[/u] by fallen from all sides, right next to [u]three[/u] lost sectors. The shank numbers alone could just float to his window and melt him, along with the Fallen ability to scale walls like they're nothing. He's screwed if it wasn't scripted AI. Sloane is no different. Also, I hate Sloane and Hawthorne. They both talk a lot of bull yet you know they're super weak. Oh, you're this BA survivalist? I just cleared out a room with 16 dregs, 11 vandals, 20 shanks, 3 servitors, 2 captains, and a larger captain that was high on ether. But no... I'm this dumb guardian that doesn't know how to do my job, somehow. Okay. Sloane... I don't care that you went to the Dreadnaught. I [u]murdered everything[/u] on the Dreadnaught. When you kill a hive God, or a taken incursion, or a cabal legion, or dozens of overly difficult sized ogres, or jump across invisible platforms, or avoid death giving pistons, call me. Otherwise, stop telling me if you're impressed or not. You should always be impressed. Asher... you actually did something with your exploration. You know useful things. You actually contributed to the story in a more meaningful way than "Hey, follow me." Yet, even though you're overly annoying, you actually admit I know what I'm doing afterwards in the fighting department. I'd save you any day. I would accidentally high five Sloane or Hawthorne if I was told to rescue them... and call the mission a failure, due to not being able to find the person of interest. -(If you couldn't tell, I'm a Warlock. Lol, I realized this part might not make sense if you didn't know that)-

Unfortunately the Wildwood Titan armor is hideous, and so by extension DOs. But they actually have a logo that isn't their initials and they're not run by a pompous prick. But I'm gonna be pissed if they didn't bring back Peter Stormare to voice Jalaal.

I see your point but my client the AI known as Failsafe and her twin sister Failsafe have declined to press charges against Lakshmi - 2 for infringement upon their armor set which looks as cool or cooler than the EDZ set. Therefore your client is being downright facetious and this lawsuit claim is uncalled for.

Let's not forget a certain cult has raided Exodus Black and stolen from FAILSAFE! And some red and white assholes just slapping stickers on the cities products without giving proper credit too the manufacturers. Factions? More like thieves who thrive off of others.

Yes Jalaal was VERY LAZY and used ZERO CREATIVITY when he designed faction gear. Good thing I waited to purchase any further content he has coming down the line. I'll see if he continued to put a different paint job on guns I already have.

Edited by De7ailz: 9/24/2017 7:45:40 PMI remember going to all the factions in vanilla destiny before dlcs, at the time I thought they were all new armor and were awesome but thinking back on it now.... they were always reskins of other armor in game with a faction logo on it..... it's like, we just never wanted to admit it and all of a sudden it's an issue?
