Before I start there is a raid spoiler for anyone who hasn't finished the raid below. First, there is a theory that The Nine are actually warminds. Supposedly, there were originally 10 warminds and 9 of them left, leaving Rasputin on earth. This leads me to my next thought. The leviathan raid is an invitation to prove ourselves. After defeating Calus we see that he is actually a machine and when you grab the loot from the chest you see a lot of Calus machines hanging up in this room. Calus' dead robot form has eyes that look like the lights on the bots Rasputin used in D1 to watch guardians. Maybe the Nine, or one of the Nine warminds, is the one controlling the Calus robot. If this is true, that would make the Leviathan Raid a Trials of the Nine for PVE players. Thoughts?
