Mad Babblings That [Could] Predict How the Destiny Franchise will End (Obvious Spoiler Alert)

Okay, so I watched this video by MyNameIsByf. I recommend you watch it before you continue on and read my mad babblings. I am Warning you, my babbling are insane and I might go into Destiny Lore exile. To read further is to question how to see yourself as a guardian. Besides obviously a character in a video game. To those of you brave enough to read on: I am no longer a brave, hopeful, soul. You can consider me: the Shattered Lady Warlock The end absolutely terrified me. After all, I am a freaking nerd of Destiny. A true Warlock, as you might say. So about that warning in the Lore tab of the Exotic ship Symmetry, something written by Ulan-Tan, it reads:
I propose a simple experiment—look around. You see light. You see darkness. There could not be one without the other. They are two sides of the same coin. If it is true for these Newtonian echoes, why would it not be true of the purest, paracausal forms? Therefore, I conclude: the reason you persecute me is not because of the symmetry. It's because of the truth beyond this truth, the truth which you most dread: if we could destroy darkness, but we had to give up our Light to do so, how many of us would make that trade?
Let's take a look at that last part.
Therefore, I conclude: the reason you persecute me is not because of the symmetry. It's because of the truth beyond this truth, the truth which you most dread: if we could destroy darkness, but we had to give up our Light to do so, how many of us would make that trade?
Basically, Ulan-Tan is saying to truly defeat the Darkness, we would have to give up our light completely and forever. Since I believe Byf's idea, because it seems completely plausible. But.... But.... But.... What if this was right. What if we had to give up our Light to truly defeat the Darkness. If.... if..... if.... If this were true, and this is what Bungie was planning. We would never know the Light again. Since every bit of Darkness would be gone, there would be no Vex so we could not go to another timeline where we can see the Light again. Our civilization would have to advance themselves and waste away until the sun goes supernova and kills us all! We have damned ourselves by killing Ghaul! This fate will reach us. And those who knew that the Light would not last forever will have the last laugh. Ulan-Tan would have the I told you so! even though he's dead. So ask yourself. Would you truly give up your light, even if the situation was dire! In fact, this entire campaign is based around this need to get the Light back. Maybe we did this out of greed, but few did it with honor to save humanity. We could have let Ghaul destroy our sun and give us our ultimate fate. Unless, of course, I am wrong. Let me tell you something Toland once said, something that we cannot escape.
This is the shape and the point of the tooth: nothing has ever lived that will not die.
--Splash, the Shattered Lady Warlock, Devoid of Hope
I apologise for the edgyness and plot-ruining of this post. But this could not be left unsaid. If this, is true. I'm with Ulan-Tan: I told you so.
• The Cabal would continue to live as normal The Fallen would be upset, but probably happy the Darkness is gone... vengeance and all. The Vex would still live... though I don't know how they would react to both their sources of paracausal power being destroyed. If they still wanted to overtake us, they could in this case. With no more paracausal powers at play, they could wipe us out. The Hive would probably die out, or at least return to their normal 10 year life-span. I don't know how closely the worms are tied to the Deep. The Taken... I presume would be gone. They are corrupted by the Deep so either they return to normal or they die out. It was Ghaul's fault that the Traveler woke up. In order to save itself it had to wake up. The difference between now and then (the Collapse), is that we're here.
