[/spoiler] [b]Occupation:[/b] Gun for hire, bodyguard, assassin. ------------------------------------------------------ [b]Info:[/b] [spoiler]Due to being a mute, Athena speaks through sign language or text, although generally she remains silent, flirty, and ever ready to fight.[/spoiler] [b]Biography:[/b] [spoiler]Athena started life in New Haven, where she spent her childhood made fun of by classmates who found out she couldn't speak, slowly turning the woman cold at heart and indifferent to those around her. Her parents, being rich from investments in the stock markets of Amoridia, worried for the girl, tried any means possible to get her to speak, therapy, speech sessions, and more, but failed as she picked up sign language at an early age. Eventually when she was 15, she took up martial arts as a release for her frustrations, learning several forms and military hand to hand by 19, four years of practice made the mute woman a silent warrior. In those four years she gained renown as a master in her styles, Pressure point, military cqc, ju-jitsu and other forms. Feeling it was worth the try, she tried joining the military, but was dropped because of her speech impediment, unable to pass basic training because of it. With her basic understanding of rifles and weaponry however, she took up a new occupation, a gun fanatic. Using her family's wealth, she collected a multitude of rifles, sidearms, knives and more mundane weapons, hiring teachers willing to show her how to use them. Years of training lead her to become interested in the criminal underworld, where her silent demeanor was set aside, and her real skills set available.[/spoiler] [b]Weapons/Gear:[/b] [spoiler] Given her parent's decent amount of wealth, Athena has acquired or funded several forms of weaponry it ideas. Some of which are as follows: [b]Hidden Blade:[/b] Funded by Athena, it started as the idea of a butterfly knife attached to the wrist, making it easier to work with. Now, it works as a weapon that is easily concealable under long sleeved clothing. This version is carbon tipped, making it exceptionally sharp. [b]Hidden Gun[/b] A modification on the left gauntlet, a short barrel located next to the blade and triggered via neural link. The small gun fires off a .45 AP bullet, then must be reloaded. This makes fir excellent finishers, or a last resort. [b]Contact Lenses:[/b] Simply designed contact lenses, used in both eyes. They give Athena a thermal vision readout and a zoom option, similar to binoculars. [b]Glock 34[/b] A powerful yet simple pistol designed with an integrated silencer, making the weapon deadly by all means. Athena carries it under her coat, several spare magazines carried as well on her person. [b]Direct Energy Revolvers "DER" Mk. IIV[/b] A set of matching revolvers bought for her by a man who specialized in gunslinging and augmentation, the set fires plasma bolts. The plasma is known to melt nearly anything not with shielding, aside from dense metals and materials known to be resistant to plasma. The rotary cylinders consist of 6 rounds each, fired rounds take a few seconds to recharge for use again. [/spoiler] [b][url=https://cdna.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/000/075/132/large/Sci-fi_Assassin.jpg?1400765245]Creed Mk IV Body Armor[/url]:[/b] [spoiler] Body armor designed to match the rugged looks of any outdoors environment, this armor is more than meets the eye, quite literally, packed with a Refracting Mirror Field (RMF) for taking stealth to whole new levels, to its fancied HUD outline. Creed body armor is designed mostly for light combat scenarios, although its layers are capable of taking up to .45 AP or, in rare cases, Magnum rounds. This is due to the lightweight design of an experimental armor pattern, hexagonal plates that slide easily around each other to help with damage reduction and absorption, as well as kevlar underlayers and ballistic gel padding. Repeated hits though do no guarantee survival, some areas are weaker than others. [b]RMF:[/b] The main benefit of the armor though, is its RMF, capable of hiding anyone in plain sight, quite literally. The RMF is capable of masking the user as anyone the user thinks of, creating a holographic field directly around the user that moves with them. This allows per say Athena, to turn from her normal armored self, into an auto mechanic, greatly boosting her odds of hiding quite literally in plain sight. [b]Fade Drive:[/b] A device of unknown origin, worn as a device on the back of the left hand, it allows the user to bypass the material realm, and become semi-solid. This allows for rapidly chained attacks. The main indicator of its use is flashes of white over the user, and sudden, amplified attacks on a victim, often ending in the victim's gruesome demise. [b]Grapple Hook[/b] A metallic hook that attached to virtually any surface, the grapple hook is capable of attaching itself to anything roughly 50ft away from Athena, and rapidly pulling her closer, or attaching to two surfaces and pulling them together. This modification is held on the right blade gauntlet. [/spoiler]
