Seriously, WTF is this BS that we can't buy ammo synths to take into battle? The game is NOT in any way dropping enough ammo in the Raid!!!
There is no reason whatsoever to not let us stock up on whatever ammo we think we need and have it at our disposal! The timer keeps it in check.
BRING BACK AMMO SYNTHS!!!
EDIT: For those referring to power ammo, no where in my post did I say power. This is about ALL ammo synths. In the raids primary and secondary are also slim to none. Here's the thing, ammo synths only apply to PVE which means it makes absolutely NO difference to the players who are saying it isn't needed. How about we put them back in the game and those who don't want them can simply don't buy them.
EDIT #2: Bungie please note the overwhelming support of this and take it into consideration... sooner rather than later please.

Certain enemies are guaranteed to drop certain ammo. If you don't have ammo, you're not killing enough enemies.
-
Have u tried gitting gud?
-
Agree. Destiny is going backwards
-
I've run out of ammo more times in two weeks playing D2 than I did in three years of playing D1.
-
Great idea
-
Heavy weapons are bad in general. The only purpose for them is to kill a high level major quick or provide burst damage to a boss. In D2 the only power weapons that do that is merciless an the legend of Acrius.
-
No. Premotes passive play. if you're not getting enough heavy ammo you're not participating in enough major kills.
-
I did Calus yesterday with my team there was plenty off power ammo on the floor the only thing that was low was energy ammo wich i used most with Coldheart. But that might be because i was only focusing on slapping the correct psion down and not work on adds at all during those phases.
-
actually now that I think about it, synths would totally be OP in D2 - because the character menu doesn't take 30 seconds to open like it does in the old game. the screen opens so quickly now, it would just be unfair advantage over the monsters and Guardians...
-
Yessssss
-
Gotta make content difficult somehow
-
The raid ammo drop especially at calus was so damn stupid. Honestly so frustrating not having synths.
-
You don't remember the great heavy ammo depression. Back in my day we waited months before Xur brought synths. This was after the heavy ammo glitch was patched. Sad times...
-
In the raid I genuinely think it's intended, Ammo management is now a thing, especially if you are inside on callus and unable to have a decent chance at picking up ammo..
-
Or at least give us more power ammo (30 shotgun shots would be fine).
-
Ammo was also nerfd! It’s Destiny, what did you expect...
-
Not just the Raid. Just doing normal Strikes I've run out of ammo. Once I had no ammo for any of my 3 weapons, no grenade, and no Super. I just had to wait on the sidelines while the other 2 took out a Fallen walker. It might be just my perception but it seems like when I run the Rat King, I run out of primary ammo quite often. I wind up using my secondary until I can locate some primary on the ground, which isn't as frequent as you might think.

I have adjusted to it and tbh the only time in D1 I r5eally consumed synths was with darkdrinker and gjallahorn and that was usually just dicking around on patrol. But I did used to make the synthesis a part of my end-game strategy....whether it was in Chellenge of Elders, or Nightfalls etc etc. It required mathematical precision to smash your way thru an event and still hit the boss with a full heavy ammo. I did miss them at first but I have adjusted. I havent got those weapons in D2, the sword I have generates its own ammo (so never really runs out) and my other main heavy is the Single clap sniper which holds a decent amount of ammo. I always seem to have ammo, if not theres always loads lying around A few precision headshot kills will generate some easily anyway!

I'm glad to see ammo synths aren't in Destiny 2. Use your other guns rather than hiding behind cover watching the countdown until you can fill your power weapon.
-
This is not destiny 1, quit trying to make it destiny 1.
-
Except this time we need primary and energy
-
Maybe you should stop sitting on your super and grenades and actually use them for once.
-
The number of times I've had to sit sneak around and sparingly shoot enemies because ammo bricks were not dropping until all bandoliers are dry is ridiculous. This isn't even about Power Ammo. This is a whole ammo economy thing.
-
Not only should they bring back ammo synths, but for every ten ammo bricks you walk over you get one synth.
-
I find that getting melee kills gets me a good variety of ammo. You could also use your energy weapon to get kinetic/power ammo and vice versa, but I find melee to be the most effective ammo solution for me.

Bump for more stuff
