Bring back Ammo Synths!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, WTF is this BS that we can't buy ammo synths to take into battle? The game is NOT in any way dropping enough ammo in the Raid!!!
There is no reason whatsoever to not let us stock up on whatever ammo we think we need and have it at our disposal! The timer keeps it in check.
BRING BACK AMMO SYNTHS!!!
EDIT: For those referring to power ammo, no where in my post did I say power. This is about ALL ammo synths. In the raids primary and secondary are also slim to none. Here's the thing, ammo synths only apply to PVE which means it makes absolutely NO difference to the players who are saying it isn't needed. How about we put them back in the game and those who don't want them can simply don't buy them.
EDIT #2: Bungie please note the overwhelming support of this and take it into consideration... sooner rather than later please.

i'm enjoying the difficulty with out heavy ammo synth. 4K assets on the Xbox 1X however are not negotiable. We want answers BUNGIE!

No thanks, I'd rather not wait 5 seconds to take myself out of immersion just to pop an ammo synth. Heavy drops often enough where you don't need it, and you can melee or grenade if you need primary/special

I've gotten more ammo drops of every color in D2 then I ever have in D1. Both white and green power drops are essentially primary ammo and there are always majors around to replenish or add on to my power ammo reserves.

No need imo. Ive seen power drop more than kinetic. Just boost the drops and it'll be fine

Yeah... cause that's what I need is someone opening a game menu during a timed event to eat a heavy because their gun play is abismal.

What for? This game has a lot of problems, but ammo isn't really one of them. I routinely have more power ammo than I know what to do with. Kinetic and Energy ammo is pretty easy to get a hold of as long as you're utilizing both weapons. Seems like Kinetic ammo drops more when you're using an Energy weapon and vice versa. If you only use your Kinetic weapon then you'll probably run out of ammo for it once in awhile. Still not necessary to bring synths back because of that. Synths had that dumb 5 minute timer and they force you to open up your menu, which takes you out of the fight. Plus synths just encouraged people to wait 5 minutes after each wipe in a raid so they could get their heavy back. And honestly one of the most annoying parts of raiding in the last game were the people that made you wait 5 minutes for heavy ammo, and then they'd screw up within a couple minutes and we'd have to wipe and play the waiting game yet again.

No. Simply put I never enjoyed standing around for 5 minutes waiting for one person to use a synth, proceed to wipe after dumping heavy into a boss, and waiting another 5 minutes just to start the encounter again.

1 ReplyDo agree that normal ammo drops should increase. Sometimes I find my self in certain games where I'm out of ammo with no way to fight back. Yes - the game does give you free ammo every 5 minutes or so IF you are out of ammo but it's too long when in a heated moment

To be honest I've only really need heavy synth maybe once or twice....most of the time there's plenty around for me to pick up

synths made cheesiness loads of boss fights easy with those jammy hiding spots u could just tickle the boss from for 3 hours. idk how good they would be if brought back

45 RepliesIt's funny how all these edgy people are saying 'Git gud', 'We don't need it', etc. They wouldn't last a -blam!-ing day in Destiny 1 without heavy synthesis. Keep on trying to be a 'Rebel', troglodytes. Of course I realise Bungie tried dropping more heavy drops to compensate for the lack of heavy synthesis but it's -blam!-ing RNG at most times. The idea of a 5 minute cool down from Destiny 1 was perfect! Why take it away! So stupid.

In D2 I really only run out of ammo for my heavy weapon and even then it depends on what Im using. Also there's really no need to even use power weapons on bosses when you have a Coldheart. That thing melts and you get tons of ammo for it.

I've been running out of primary ammo a lot (scout rifle), but otherwise its been ok. I used to seriously abuse heavy ammo synths with dark drinker, and yea I miss it, but it's not really that bad

Not enough power ammo? Lol are you not shooting enemies? I haven't been dry on ammo nor has anyone I've played with in this game basically ever. It's very plentiful

Ammo falls like snow in a blizzard. Ran out of ammo once during bathers in raid...switched to arc auto rifle killed couple guys ammo full. Literally not a problem at all.

No. And I say this as someone who got close to 3000 hours clocked on Destiny 1 next to a full time job.
