Seriously, WTF is this BS that we can't buy ammo synths to take into battle? The game is NOT in any way dropping enough ammo in the Raid!!!
There is no reason whatsoever to not let us stock up on whatever ammo we think we need and have it at our disposal! The timer keeps it in check.
BRING BACK AMMO SYNTHS!!!
EDIT: For those referring to power ammo, no where in my post did I say power. This is about ALL ammo synths. In the raids primary and secondary are also slim to none. Here's the thing, ammo synths only apply to PVE which means it makes absolutely NO difference to the players who are saying it isn't needed. How about we put them back in the game and those who don't want them can simply don't buy them.
EDIT #2: Bungie please note the overwhelming support of this and take it into consideration... sooner rather than later please.
-
In truth, the lack of ammo synths isn't the problem. The ammo capacity is.
-
I heard the cabal complained and bung listened hence no synths. Stupid f'ing cabal
-
No. Stop complaining and use better tactics when engaging a combatant.
-
All yellow bars drop loads of heavy
-
Pro tip in raid...... Kill the cabal at the start if you need heavy ammo.
-
Yep, even with a 20 mins cool down or something.

Edited by Dark Raven 2501: 9/18/2017 8:24:36 AMGood point and I would have to agree it one thing that is sadly needed in this game specially when you find your self in a tight situation Edit: pve patrol is got it bad as well
-
I've this idea, I always had 100 in heavy and 100 in special and about 25 in white and that was for Destiny 1, yes please bring it back, we could buy it again from the weapon smith
-
If you're saying you never run out of ammo, you're a liar. Point blank, end of discussion. I have run with so many people in strikes, events, missions and in the raid and it's consistently the same, "I have no kinetic ammo", "my energy weapons are empty" and so on. Every single one of them wants synths back. Every. Single. One.
-
Syths promoted camping. Ammo drops too often to need them, the more shots you land the less ammo you need.
-
"They" removed ammo synths because people wanted to be able to assign a button to a particular synth and well those buttons are their Cash cow for dances and emotes, and there is no way they're gonna give up their golden goose so this is what we get..lol
-
Agreed, and we need a hot key for them so we don't have to go into menu and waste ten seconds
-
It's not necessary, and yes, it does affect others. Currently you have to think about ammo consumption and getting some new ammo at the right time - the drop rates are fair, and everytime you die and come back (full wipe OR res) you get your Kinetic and Energy back anyway. What you're asking for is the game to be further watered down and easier, and there are many of us who justifiably dont want that. I've beaten the raid, the prestige nightfall, and gone flawless, and not once has me or anyone in my group thought that the removal of synths were in any way a problem with our current system.
-
The likes are insane, bring back synth or make ammo drop more. Plz ty
-
If they did then they need to be extremely expensive or rare. Way too much power for something that barely costs anything. Also possibly make it so you can only use 1 per activity to emphasise its role as an emergency.

Edited by Surprised Brony: 9/18/2017 9:38:07 AMI didn't use synths often, and when I did there were majors present so Destiny 2's system would have eliminated my need for them. I don't care either way, but I really can't see how it would hurt people who like a challenge. Either way, synths are probably gone for good. Anyway, below are my tips for having fewer ammo problems. Try more ammo efficient weapons. Also switch often, at least before your ammo reserves drop to half capacity. This should help. If I use a bad archetype of any weapon type, I can burn ammo too fast to replenish. It's okay to use one fast burning weapon like Coldheart or SMGs, but having two weapons that consume ammo quickly isn't going to end well. Example: My preferred loadout is Nameless Midnight, Martyr's Make, and Man O' War. Nameless Midnight doesn't have insane reserves, but doesn't run out of ammo all the time. Auto rifles are just crazy for damage, and Martyr's Make has a magazine and ammo capacity to match. Man O' War is a linear fusion. Any fusion can carry adequate ammo. As I said, one ammo-hungry weapon won't kill you. I usually don't use any, though.

Who needs ammo synth's? How are you running out of anything but power ammo? Also:
[HATE SYNTHS]
-
Disagree
-
When are people going to learn how to manage their ammo. When you use kinetic weapons, the game drops energy ammo. When you use energy weapons, the game drops kinetic ammo. I haven't had any problems with ammo. You just have to manage your reservs and it will be fine.

I am a day 1 Destiny 1 player. With the launch of Destiny 1 it was pretty rough. I waited it out, and what the taken King release it improved a lot. And at the end of year 3 the game was awesome and felt like a complete game. And the Destiny Community is great. With all that said, the launch of Destiny 2 was everything I ever wanted in the launch of Destiny 1. Bungie has really impressed me. It feels like a full game in the first week. PVE and PVP are great. In PVE we have a full beautiful story with lore to find if you look for it. And if you're more than a casual player you have a lot of challenges after the story. And in PvP it is great and any player can participate in the trials of the nine after completing milestones. And the opening sequence for Trials of the nine is so awesome makes you feel like a superhero going to battle. I don't understand what everybody is complaining about. I guess Taylor Swift said it right " haters going to hate" LOL. To all people complaining about timed night Falls, ammo synthesis, drops in the raid, how hard the raid is, and all the rest of the complaints. I really think you're a bunch of babies. This is end game content! If you can't take the Heat get your rear out of the kitchen! These objectives are for the hardcore players! If you can't complete them you really need to step your game up. Don't be complaining that they're too hard! I don't want it system where I get everything in the first raid. Stop complaining I don't want them to Nerf it. And I think it's great you have no ammo synthesis it adds more challenge. As for the drops you get coins to turn into the vendor after you complete the raid. I think a lot of you just want to sail through the raid and have somebody carry you. Nope you're going to have to get good! And I think it's hilarious that people complain about the timed Nightfall, it is so easy. I really believe that people just want to complain to complain. This game is really awesome! Stop complaining so much that Bungie Nerf's everything great about this game. You're really going to ruin it for people who actually enjoy playing Destiny.

This x100000. I miss all the little things you could do to play the game your way.
-
Meh, I kill enough stuff, or my fireteam does that it's not really needed. I run out of one set, switch over to another, ammo spawns and I'm able to cycle it if needed. You can have your want or need to this subject, I personally don't want or need it.
-
I don't think we need synths back in game. Instead, just buff the ammo drops for the Calus checkpiont. That's the only section I'm seeing where enemies aren't dropping regular (primary/secondary) ammo consistently.
-
THIS! Bump
-
yes!!!! AMMO SYNTHS!!!!!
-
seriously itz intense, if you know what i mean, final shot to victory and yer out of ammo. go for the punch! lol...
