I like the rifts and know that some classes are worse off but I still think this class would be more fun if they could offer more support like a mage would.
People keep saying "switch to stormcaller", ill play what i like but i really wish dawnblade had more support options for the team.
Sunsinger:
Had a debuff(though it was almost unuseable
Had a knockback (again was litterally not even noticable)
Could reduce allies cooldowns (again not noticeable because everyone assumed they self rezed)
Have great AOE by throwing nades everywhere.
Suggestions (not all at once):
-Make the melee abilty a cone knockback (phalanx shield tier) with a light burn effect if you hold down the melee trigger for a moment, similiar to the Voidwalker.
-Bring back the reduce cooldown effect for nearby allies but NEEDS to have a AOE ring around so allies know you have a buff for them available.
Also here is a 3rd attunement Idea:
I: Solar Wind: Hold R1 to charge a cone of solar wind. Pushes enemies back with a light burn effect.
II: Radiance: Can no longer shoot dongs from magical space sword. All abilities have vastly reduced cooldowns while Daybreak(radiance) is active.
III: Song of Flame: Allies near Daybreak while active have slightly(but noticeable) reduced ability cooldowns
IV: Your rift now grants Allies an overshield (Sticks with them as they move away and lasts 15 seconds)
And bring back HotPF if a Sunsinger attunement ever becomes a thing.

How about we give the Warlock an exotic that gives his fire abilities the good ol Viking Funeral dmg buffer? (Against PvE enemies only) That way you could toss a solar flare, see them beautiful yellow crits and stand in an empowered rift. Everyone is happy.
