It's definitely cool and I enjoy using it... But when I see a Warlock pop down a healing/damage rift and a Titan put down a shield that blocks damage and damages enemies who walk through it... The dodge instantly becomes VERY underwhelming. How can an ability with almost no utility have even a similar cooldown as the other class abilities? Being able to use it more often would make it so much better. It's too infrequent to get used to and doesn't do enough. You become hard to hit for half a second but you can't fight back during that half a second so they just keep shooting you, unless you use it to run away! So Warlocks and Titans have abilities that help them stand their ground and be useful to the team while Hunters get a chance to run away once every minute... It's a selfish ability that isn't even good... Let me use the dodge to actually outmanoeuvre enemies at a consistent rate so that I can be effective in a fight. One dodge isn't good enough to support the team.
Are there any Hunters out there who do like the dodge even when comparing it to the other class abilities?

Dodge has a few strong synergies with certain builds. But overall should have either more sub tree synergies or a shorter cool down.

I wish it Could help the team, but when solo, jumping in the midst of like a half dozen weak enemies and just alternating punching andc dodging refillingeach skill in turn IS satisfying

Its ok. Maybe if it charged a bit faster and you could also dodge during a jump?

I feel like I do way more DPS in PvE when I have the one that reloads my weapon. In PvP it is my "nope" button. Come around a corner to see the entire enemy team, dodge back and run away.

It would be decent if the reload mechanic was unique to it, but both other classes have a way to do the same thing, and multiple times at that so it's pretty bad.
