Could you possibly update so when we pick the Traveler in the Director we immediately get the launch option?
-
There needs to be a landing zone near cayde and ikora. I run to one of them then fast travel back to mid to run to the other. It's a difficult life.
-
There should be three landing zones. One in the main area where we usually land, one in the hanger by Cayde, and one in the bazaar by Ikora.
-
Opening the map before launch let's you see who you need to pick up rewards from. You can then set a marker for who you want to go see first. I find the map very useful
-
So you can see which vendors have somethin new and who has the next quest, that's why.
-
Yup. So dumb.
-
true. also sometimes when I spawn in I spawn standing infront of Ikora Rey. not that thats a problem just seems really weird. if I was doing one of her Meditations and it spawned me back in front of her that would be great but that doesn't seem to be the case. Why then does it happen is what bugs me.
-
Is this really that big of a deal? I'm pretty sure there are LITERALLY a hundred things that need attention before this.
-
They have it that way so you can choose to place a waypoint on a vendor before you travel there. That is the only thing I can think of.
-
Or a simple button press to Launch to what ever destination you select when highlighting which planet/area with the default landing spot.
-
Yea, I wish there was 3 in total if it's going to do that. I do sometimes spawn near Ikora.
-
But did you notice you can fast travel while at the tower? So you can be down by ikora and fast travel back to middle So funny
-
Way to be an ass and put a spoiler in your title.
-
It's better the way it is now because you can view all the venders to see if there is a reason to go to the tower and who all you need to talk to
-
Game developers do that so that they can add more to it later if they decide to. Never close all your doors, u feel?
-
Completely agree
-
It’s week one man, they’ll update this eventually. Factions like FWF, Dead Orbit & New Monarchy are coming in week 3. Give it some time.
-
Seriously?
-
Because otherwise you will argue that there was no choice. =)
-
The map allows you to see quest targets and you can set waypoints. So I wouldn't say its not completly useless.
-
A couple of the reasons they might do it this way are 1) Its how the system is built, so creating an exception might complicate things unnecessarily, and 2) Giving you the map first, with the various npcs highlighted if they have something for you, gives you a chance to quickly get am idea of where you're going or remind you of something extra. It could even be future proofing for adding additional landing points if the Tower gets expanded. That said, if they did implement this, I'd hope it would be an option, auto land or map to land.
-
Lmao...
Nah man, fixing that would cost money.
-Bungie
-
3 landing zones wud be great.
-
I do find this a minor annoyance. It wouldn't bother me at all if you had 3 drop zones. By Ikora, default, and the hanger.
