I personally like the new shader system. Every level after 20 you earn a bright engram which Tess will decrypt into a ship, shader, or emote. People will complain about anything just to complain. It must be the year 2 and 3 players who are used to having everything handed to them. I am glad that the grind is back!

Edited by RingersCheckmate: 9/7/2017 4:25:17 PMIt's nice that you can apply a shader to an individual piece of armor or a weapon, but the fact that you can't get that shader back is what people are finding to be greedy. This means a shader that proves an accomplishment (such as a raid shader) holds way more value in your inventory than on a piece of armor, because we won't be only using one piece of armor or weapon all the time. It's pushing players to buy them from the eververse than grind another x hours of patrol to get the shader back when we get a better weapon or piece of armor.
