Okay, putting my foot down. This is something we've been asking for since 2014 and it's still not here. When we made our initial characters in D1, we couldn't turn our heads around, which meant more often than not that our haircuts looked atrocious when viewed from the back. I would have erased the character and started over, but by the time it became too much to bear, I had already progressed to the point where doing it all over again just for a new haircut simply wouldn't be worth it. So I asked, and waited, and so did many others. It's such a basic feature that doesn't seem like it would've taken a lot of time or effort to implement (considering the fact that there is already a fully functional character creation system in the game), and yet it never arrived. Destiny 2 was announced, and we were told that we could import our characters, along with their potentially crappy haircuts and tattoos. However, for imported characters, we wouldn't be allowed to change ANYTHING. That haircut my Hunter's been stuck with for 3 years? He still can't get rid of it, even though in the real world, a 30 minute trip to the barbers or even a wig shop would fix that problem. I would erase my characters and start fresh with Destiny 2, were it not for one thing: The character creation timestamp. For those who are unaware, in Destiny 2 there will be a timestamp on your character showing the date they were created. This means those of us who have been playing since day one will have something in-game that directly shows this. Deleting your character means that timestamp is gone, and there's no way you can get it back once that's happened. That timestamp might seem like an insignificant data point to some, and that's understandable, but to others it holds deep sentimental value, and that's something that wasn't taken into account by Bungie when they decided not to let us recustomise our imported characters. My proposed solution? Put an NPC in the Farm that lets us recustomise our characters post creation (I'm talking markings, hairstyle and color, race, gender, everything except class). I honestly don't care what the cost is for something like this, even if I have to buy Silver for it.
