Not something that most people find important.
But PC gaming and console gaming are very different, and I find my finger getting tired of holding W all the time. Its not bad when there is actual combat, but when you spawn into a strike half done, and you have 27 miles to catch up (an no sparrows in beta).
Would be nice to hit a key and just run for a while.
With the smaller wall titans can put up. I hate that it auto crouches me.
Can there be a node for that?

You can always make a macro that holds down W, that way you only have to toggle the macro on or off and you will basically have auto-walk/run I wouldn't mind an official auto-walk button though

1.) everyone has to hold something down to run. Even on controllers. Pc isn't special in that, it's how it's always been. 2.) the point of that smaller wall is that doing that crouch is what reloads your weapon. You basically want to make a waist high wall then not use it.

You could get a nostromo gamepad or a gaming mouse that has a directional thumbstick built into the side...

I can't see auto run being too useful. In D1 I never really found myself just running in a general direction for very long without stopping for a little battle. I imagine D2 will be the same. The only time would be in patrols but they seem to have solved that with differant landing zones. It's not like you will be running forever. I personally am not a big PC gamer but have played guild wars 2. So I am not completely talking out my a**.

That's a bit of a tall request. If you're more comfortable with a controller why not stick with that. Full compatible and grants you aim assist.

You have to hold down a button.....we have have to hold a stick forward get used to it At least we can click the stick to sprint, still have to hold it in the direction we want to travel though
