Thanks bungo. They made it unnecessarily long to get to the forums, and took away customizing the bar. Great
EDIT: This entire update is trash, and literally ruined the app

Yeah I think alot of things need rearranging on here
-
Agreed! It seems like they want to get rid of every feature, not just in game, in the forums too now.
-
Under maintenance....

Edited by WINTER PROPHET: 8/27/2017 10:08:40 PMTo a point things being unnecessary in effort should require MORE time to achieve. Their belief is that the forums need to be a grind just like the game. *fistbump Edit: We are discussing people who "lessen the value" of what you earn in game under the belief that lessening the value of what you spend all that time earning keeps the game "fresh and new". It's safe to say that this particular strategy of putting bricks through the windshield of your car after 6 months makes you replace it with a fresh new windshield.

I agree, it took me like 3 seconds to figure it out!
-
I'm cool with it besides the fact that I can't click my notifications
-
Who even designs this shit? Bungo must've hired idiots from the local community college
-
Not only is it confusing for a multi year forum user, but I can't find anything anymore.
-
I don't know what Bungie have done but I am only able to access about 25 'replies' to the majority of threads although the total responses could be substantial. There are a few threads which have more than one page but it is really frustrating not being read the others. I am not sure whether this is deliberate or not
-
Edited by Soul_Eater_42: 8/26/2017 2:28:26 PMThey really screwed up the app. Can't go to any replies in the Notifications, and when trying to scroll through the forums, it only loads about 25 posts, and won't load any more, no matter how many times you scroll down. And when sorting them by New instead of Trending, the posts don't show. You have to select it twice. At least the website's still functional.
-
man the new ui is shit.
-
Holy shit the new app is awful...
-
Remember when tapping a reply in your notifications? Well now it doesn't so good luck even finding where the reply is.
-
Bungie doesn't care as much about coming out with a quality app, as they do about making D1 obsolete
-
I hate change. Don't want to admit how long it took me just to find the forums
-
they are updating the webstire for destiny 2 once the game comes out you can transfer gear on d2, if you want to transfer gear use destiny item manager or go to the tower
-
1. On Android, it's the same amount of swipes and taps to get to the forums as the old one. 2. They new layout is...questionable to say the least. Not a fan.
-
Not that bad.
-
PC users have been dealing with questionable designs and non user friendly "features" for years. Welcome to the club.

just go on the computer

Edited by gallp13: 8/25/2017 11:33:05 PMStill getting used to the app. However getting to forums feels Ok. 1. Right thumb scroll to "Communities" 2. Press big "drink from fire hose" picture on the screen 3. Select forum of choice rgds old gallp XB1 Clan ANZACS https://www.bungie.net/en/ClanV2/Chat?groupId=2074065

Yea... this. Why would you ruin your old app with a new one that sucks? Oh yea it's called employment preservation. The guys that had nothing to do get this job of remaking the app, they mess it up on purpose and created endless hours of work for themselves to "fix" it. That's the only reason I can think of. Because it's like a bunch of people that never made an app threw one together. Just like Destiny 1 updates where one thing was broken and they break 12 more things and fix 1

Just got it. Wtf. For a moment i thought they killed offtopic.
-
I can't find how to get to groups
-
This format is highly disorienting.
-
It's not that bad. It takes, what, an extra half second to get to #offtopic?
