Beta Destiny player here.
Three years ago I convinced my brother to get hyped about a shared world, sci fi shooter game made by the studio who made Halo.
We dove in to a brand new experience and never looked back. We goofed off on patrol, tried to sort out the story missions, and tried to outplay each other in crucible (also he did Raids and I grumbled and occasionally helped him with them).
We bragged about new guns/armor, got our first legendary stuff on the one and only Queen's Event (maybe there was two?) and tried to find new shaders to make our toons look better than each other's.
For two years we fought together, died together, had FUN together (also lost a lot of sleep).
Last fall, I dropped out of the Destiny world when legacy console support was cut off.
I built a new PC and crossed my fingers that Destiny 2 would be on my new platform of choice.
My brother lives very far away and I do not see him very often. Destiny is just the latest in a long list of games that we have played together over the years. Every new game we find ourselves having fun again just like when we were kids in the living room.
I am super excited to come back to this universe. Not because of the guns or the game modes or the story.....and certainly in spite of all the DRAMA surrounding this game (seriously guys, you are dramatic).
I miss my adventures with my little brother and together once again we shall become legends!

My brother lives close by and i barely ever see him. I think its because we are both hyper competitive (on the down low) and just cant really get along anymore... ehhh cest la vie
