Hello,
This isn't usually what I post here on OffTopic. But my dog Harley had puppies two days ago. And one of them was smaller than the others. Really didn't think much of it honestly. I just thought the dog would be small. I had to help feed it though. The other puppies were in the way. So I made sure it was feed before going to bed. Even bought some other milk from the vet, just too make sure it got enough food. But when I woke up today he passed away.
I really don't understand why the puppy died. It got a good amount of food, with a nice cozy bed with his mom. So that left me perplexed. Only thing I can think of is he had a birth defect. I should have taken the puppy to the vet. I really regret my decision not too. I've always had a heart for puppies and kittens. I know animals aren't as important as humans. But it still pains me that it never gets too have a life. Thankfully, the other puppies are nice and healthy though.
- I was going to name him Gnash.(Gnasher from GOW) May Gnash R.I.P.

I know how you feel. My mum has an unfortunate knack when it comes to choosing animals. Our first cat died of a lung ailment when she was only a kitten, and our third cat, who was always a bit frail, came down with an illness and stopped eating. She died not long after. Luckily, our second cat (the one I chose) is still going strong and is built like a tank. He's coming up on his 15th birthday I think. We also have two dogs running around (Lhasa Apsos, for those who care). Anyone who says that the death of a pet wouldn't/didn't effect them that much is either ignorant or lying. It must have been especially bad in your case since he was so young.
