Society, yes I am going there, has created and nurtured a culture where the selfish, cruel, and wicked. Those who behave contrary to this expected behavior are ridiculed at best.
You are expected to be a self-serving, cruel, and wicked individual.
Whenever I do good for others they usually act like I was supposed to lick their feet clean too.
Nevertheless I will still act out of good rather then evil. That is not the human nature though.
In short. They are not behaving childishly they are behaving human.

I was talking about how 90% of trials players act like children. I was not commenting on the human condition.

I was not commenting on the human condition.
The underlined section begs to differ. 90% of ToO players are acting like children. As in immature, selfish, greedy, irresponsible, cruel, and manipulative the list goes on. So yes you were talking about the "Human Condition" as you put it. Either way. You asked if it was "too hard" for these ToO players to behave in a more polite and respectful way. My answer, which you don't acknowledge, is it is the human nature to be immature and all that other jazz. Children need to and can be trained out of that. Even then they will pick up negative behaviors and habits from outside sources. *Edit* So have you noticed the "human condition" has gravitated towards your post? You showed honesty and will now you will be attacked for it. My advice don't respond to their comments and they get bored. It's like a petting zoo run out of things to gain their attention and they leave eventually.
