My gold membership will be expiring soon and I have several gold trial cards lying around (48 hr., 7 day, 14 day, etc) and wasn't sure if they would actually work to play Destiny. During Year 1 and 2 they didn't, but you also couldn't play Destiny without a Gold membership (now you can play with Silver, just not multiplayer, strikes or raids). I figured if they changed that, maybe they changed the rules with trial subscriptions as well. But I don't want to waste a trial subscription to find out, especially with Iron Banner going on right now. Any help is appreciated! All the posts I can find concerning this topic are from 2014.... Also, not sure if it matters between Xbox one and 360, but I'm playing on Xbox one.
