Destiny 2 Ammo Synth
Not sure if this has been suggested before or not. If Ammo Synth, or some type of ammo crate will be a thing in Destiny 2, they need to find a way to use it without going into a pause menu. I get why they don't want to map it to the d-pad. Maybe they could make it so if you hold down reload, you'll use the ammo synth for whatever weapon type you currently have equipped. Or double tap reload. If they want it to remain a thing you need to be careful about using, they could add a little animation, so you're vulnerable while using it. Not sure I'd like that, but at least you could still see what's going on while using it. Maybe you could interrupt it if needed. You'd lose the ammo synth, but still be alive.

3 RepliesThe "guaranteed power ammo drops from certain enemies" change Bungie hinted at sounds promising. Nobody's going to miss synths or the "Let's all sit here waiting for Joe's synth" mechanic if starting the encounter and killing certain enemies gives you full power ammo. Alternatively if synths exist the timers should reset on a full team wipe.
