That's all you'll need anyways, since you'll finish all the rehashed content in a few hours.

I'm taking the 6th 7th and 8th off, plus I'll have the weekend too. I have a lot of vacation days to use up before the end of the year
-
I got three weeks to enjoy D2 before classes start again.
-
I foresee server issues on day one, so I was thinking about taking Wednesday off. Or I will take Friday off for the extended weekend. - Undecided
-
I am proud to say that, as of yet, I haven't bought D2. Of course the DT's won't really start until a week after the game releases.
-
First day is the worst day, plus the servers for the downloads will be hammered by tons of trafic, if anything you should take a day off to extend your weekend if you wanna play more D2.
-
Nah, got school. Just going to play on weekends.
-
Yeah, I'll be at classes until around noon. But I'm definitely getting up at launch to play
-
Two weeks actually. But I am going to holiday so I'm not sure if that counts 😁
-
I am. Except I'm going to spend the entire day getting kicked from activities because Bungie probably won't expect the large number of players to be on Day 1.
-
Thinking about taking off the day after. The download will take a while, and by the time it's installed and ready to play, most of the 1st day will be over.
-
I'd love to have enough faith in my ISP, PSN and Bungie to risk taking the day off. I took the week for Destiny and got my kitchen redecorated during the combined XBL/Bungie down time

Edited by Oddish43: 7/30/2017 11:05:09 PMI get a $1000.00 bonus for perfect attendance at work for a year. Considering how resistant I was to paying $200.00 to upgrade to a PS4, do you really think I'm going to dump enough cash for five of them? Besides, still not sure I'm even getting D2.
-
No, it won't be available in the east till 1:00 pm. 😝
-
Oh debbie!😏
-
I won't take the day off, but I will be playing a lot that day. I do want to try to take my time this go around, but of course I will end up grinding some so I can be fully leveled up by the time the Raid drops a few weeks or so after release date.
-
I had a couple friends who took the day off when TTK came out. I remember them saying it took so long to download and by the time they got started playing I was off work just a half hour later. Lol If anything, you take the day off after a content release...
-
I am! Only because it falls on my normal days off. Feelsgood
-
Can everyone just stop bashing Destiny 2? Y'all have no idea what it'll include so stop judging it lol
-
I took off most of the week, but mostly because: to extend my Labor Day weekend activities with my family and to enjoy the start up of the NFL season. Playing Destiny 2 will just be the icing on the cake (providing they didn't use salt instead of sugar when making the cake :)).
-
No....biggest mistake I made in D1 was doing to much to fast then having nothing to do. Going to just play, have fun and make it last.

Taking the day off to play a video game is pretty sad. I'd rather take a day off to spend it with family. Edit:
Love that kiddies are getting mad over this OPINION. Hilarious.
Edit (again):
These replies really are hilarious. My god, people are easily upset over a simple comment nowadays. Makes me wonder how they cope in life.
Edit #3:
100+ replies? Damn, you people are easily pissed. Thanks for the laughs.
-
No more PTO wasted on this game.

I could (since I've started a new job in April I haven't taken a single day off yet, but my employer won't risk having me accruing days off for next year), but I won't. I enjoy my games slow and immersive, and on launch day my entire friendlist will be troubled wreacking the most havoc possible and shouting in party chats over what they've discovedered. I learnt a longtime ago to not overplay on launch day. I will put in some minutes on the first night (just to start characters, couple of missions, etc...), probably by setting my profile offline. I will then play during the weekends, slowly and gladly, and avoid the Day1 turmoil.

Edited by Lord Fried: 7/31/2017 12:15:34 PMNope. Not gonna waste 9 hours of leave.
-
Yea no I actually have a life unlike people who'll probably be raid ready that evening
-
Seriously? For a videogame? People need to rethink their priorities in life.
