I was doing my usual pre - sleepy time routine and while washing my face, I started having one of my "moments", 'cept this time there was near complete darkness with no sense of light. This then got me thinking about sensory deprivation tanks and how long would I be able to sit (or rather float) in one.
I honestly don't think I'd be able to handle it for the length of time that's considered therapeutic, let alone an for any amount of time past that. That said, I'd still like to experience it one day.
-
I could do five days i reckon
-
Sounds like a nice vacation from the rest of the goddamn world.
-
Not sure how long it last, but I'd like to try it sometime.
-
Reminds me of that vsauce video. He locks himself in a white room for 3 days with nothing but a bed, toilet, food and water.
-
I'd get bored after 2 minutes
-
I'd love to eat some acid or shrooms and float in one for awhile... "We all float down here"...
-
I spend half my life in my mind. It wouldn't that bad.
-
The idea of those freak me out. Being shut in one, no guarantee someone will let you out when you want to get out and being stuck in that tiny, senseless tank.. I know the odds are slim but that's enough to put me off. I think id be alright in one just that would be my biggest fear.
-
Probably not.
