It started as a normal day, I had just finished my morning chore and was returning home to check on the misses when it happened. Suddenly, out of nowhere, something appeared just up the hill. An impossibly tall and imposing figure stood inspecting it's surroundings. I hid before it could see me. It moved slowly at first, merely turning, what I assume to be it's head, looking around but then it started to walk. As it drew closer I began to fear for my life, though the creature did not appear to show any ill intent it's size alone gave me reason to be wary, I imagine if it wanted to it could easily crush me in an instant. Thankfully the beast did not notice my hiding place, it quickly moved on, to where or for what purpose I did not know. Just as I was about to leave I saw another one appear on the same hill, and another, and another. Before I knew it the area was overrun with giants. I was terrified but then my thoughts turned to my loving mate and our children. I mustered what courage I had and began to rush home faster and with more vigor than I ever had before. My heart pounding, dodging the footfalls of the enormous interlopers and remaining out of sight, I eventually made it back to my humble home. She must have seen what was happening from afar, without an utterance our eyes conveyed the same message to each other, we need to take the children and leave. As soon as the little ones were gathered we began our journey away from the new land of giants, thankfully never to be seen by them. The last thing I remember before leaving was the cry of the mighty beasts: "Where are the chickens!?"
