First, the good stuff.
It's gorgeous. Legitimately f***ing gorgeous. Everything is more detailed, smoother, crisper, cleaner and appealing.
New weapons! Sub machine gun anybody? Grenade launcher? Just a couple of new pieces to mix it up.
New supers! A flaming sword similar to the Titan's hammer? Yes, please and thank you. A bo staff that's electrically charged for the Hunter? Now we're talking! Lots of different perks in each subclass to explore as well.
Now.....the bad.
The strike I was able to partake in felt like a short raid. The final boss was a subpar Atheon that continually s**t on my fireteam. Why? The answer to that lies in the next point....
Weapons aren't worth a baboons bald butt. 63 dps for a crit? Really? Scout rifles used to be my bread'n'butter. Double tap could take down any regular enemy. Now? Try almost an entire clip if you can only land body shots. Head shots? Two to four. A psion takes two! WTF?
Charging times. They're kind of ridiculous. Grenades, melees, supers. Hell, even the shoulder charge has a cooldown now. Oh. And it doesn't one hit anymore either. Pick ONE. Cooldown OR one hit kill. NOT BOTH!
Ammo drops. Little difficult to locate in lit areas. Could stand to be brighter and/or larger.
Haven't gotten to play Crucible yet. I'll add to this once I do.
