The PVE game tuning has changed pretty significantly since the Beta build was deployed. The nature of a Beta of this scale requires that it’s based off a build of the game that is now months old. So, in many cases, your feedback is helping us validate changes that were previously made based on internal feedback and playtesting. For example, we too felt that ammo (especially power ammo) was too scarce in PvE. In addition to retuning the drop rates, we built a system that guarantees power ammo drops for you and your Fireteam from certain enemies, giving power weapons a more reliable and predictable role in your arsenal. Other areas where we’ve made significant tuning changes include grenade effectiveness in PvE, Boss vitality, and weapon damage against non-player combatants.
So it looks like they already fixed the power ammo economy in PVE internally, grenade damage in PVE, gun damage against PVE, and boss health (guess a nerf to bosses). This is good.
There's sadly still no clear confirmation of the slow super charge rate in PVE is being fixed. It would be nice to get a clear answer from Bungie about the supers. Making PVE enemies grant more super charge on a kill or adding a hidden modifier for PVE to improve super charge rates should be fixes that I think need to be looked at as possible solutions. This is my number one issue with the beta.
Overall, the news is positive, though I'm sure it won't stop the foaming-at-the-mouth doom-callers.

They dont need to increase that. Every armor piece gets an armor mod. You can pick between grenade /melee and super having reduced cooldown. 5 armor pieces = tier 5 in 1 of those 3. And i think 3-4 supers per strike is enough in a beta. If there is 3 of you that means you have 12 total super in 1 strike. So unless people are dumb and use their super on the boss (not making orbs) this is plenty.
