But it's a possible explanation. Maybe they have it coded like this, with the scenario I brought up in mind, and will "fix" it when either story completion has been met, or when the raid has been completed however many times or whatever.
They're giving us a narrative driven story this time, complete with [i]multiple[/i] cut scenes. I'm fine with the slower super charge, because it makes sense in the story. We saw, with our own eyes, the light leaving us. Why should our supers charge as fast as D1?

Honestly, if that happened after the initial mission and losing our light I would be happier as they gave a reasonable explanation. But it's consistent across the board.
