Topic. The drop frequency is way too low, the amount you pick up with each brick is too low, and the ammo reserves are too low. The linear fusion rifle I picked up maxes out at a total of 8 (!) shots, equalling two magazines.
Also, the power level of the power weapons isn't high enough to warrant the ammo scarcity. If you want us PvE players to accept the change to kinetic/energy/power over primary/special/heavy, the power level of the power weapons need to be brought up greatly in PvE.
However, the biggest issue I can see after playing the beta is definitely not enough ammo dropping and way too low reserves. If not buffed, you'll end up having to use primary weapons to kill every single strike boss and ultra, and that is just not fun or challenging. I ran out of ammo for all weapons several times during The Inverted Spire because of it. In a game about shooting stuff, running out of ammo simply isn't fun, and just extends play time.
I know you are working on balancing PA drops in PvE, but I feel like this point really needs to be hammered home, especially since not a lot of people are addressing power ammo reserves.
