An interesting observation about D2 Beta Reviews

So I've read all the reviews and opinions on the D2 Beta so far; I've spotted an interesting trend in the opinions from the ones that are saying it's great and are loving it. All of these Bungie defenders have sub 5000 Grimoire, No "From the beginning" node unlocked on Y3 MoT and have 1000 Hours or less gameplay time. You will say Grimoire doesn't mean shit, but it's an uncanny trend that I've spotted. Any D1 Alpha/Beta Vets with 5500+ Grimoire and 3000 Hours logged have anything good to say about this D2 Beta? I'm curious...

I have max grimoire and I played the beta for about three hours. I completed the story mission and strike with a hunter, and spent the majority of the time playing crucible. I really liked what I played. 1) I like that damage is rebalanced so that TTK is longer. Two melee hits are no longer a death sentence; handguns (at least the ones available in the beta) are not OP as all hell; and the new loadout system creates a unique "give and take" system that allows for more versatility. 2) I like how much "tighter" the maps are. Action is tense and fast paced, even with the smaller fire teams. 3) The countdown mode is pretty neat, and I can see some tense matches happening in the future. 4) I like that your score is not defined by k/d anymore. This new trend of doing away with k/d scores in shooters is great and emphasizes playing to the objective, which we all know was lost on a lot of Destiny 1 players. 5) I'm pretty neutral when it comes to the graphics. There's no serious graphical improvement, but particle effects look nicer and there seems to be more stuff happening on screen at the same time, which is neat. 6) I'm disappointed that there weren't any major aesthetic or stylistic upgrades (like the menu is pretty much EXACTLY the same) but, then again, Destiny's minimalistic interface has always been great to me.
