We are level 20 with shit gear in the beta what do u expect?

I don't know about you but my character has full purple gear so that definitely isn't it.....

I'm not sure what the color has to do with it. It has no perks of any kind other than the ability to move like one stat point to a different stat.

I think that's the way gear is now, color has everything to do with it if it's the same as Vanilla Destiny. Rarity - green-blue-purple-yellow

When most content like dlc levels with you, levelling ups not going to significantly alter gameplay.
