Day one player, 5000 plus grimoire, top 1% time played.
Honest review of the beta so far:
I think the graphics are an upgrade. The game looks very good. Very pleased.
The story mission and strike are very well done. I think for now it looks as if the pve side will be excellent.
As for the pvp, I'm not sold so far. Disclaimer, when I first started playing destiny, I was not a pvp player. My KD was so bad, and I honestly could have cared less. However, towards the end of year 1, I actually started caring and worked my KD up to 1 on my hunter and became a solid player. In D1, I hated how it became an abilityfest and I always hated the metas that forced you to use 1 weapon.
Here's what I like about the D2 pvp:
The competitive mode is pretty fun for the most part. Had some really good games and a few bad but it moves along and again, I had fun.
What I don't like about the D2 pvp:
To play and get a positive KD I had to focus more on running away and team shooting. I'm not a fan of that play style. It's slow, the time to kill is really slow. I'm not a cod fan so I like how destiny is different, but this is too drastic.
What I hate:
So far, it has been very inconsistent. I've been 1 shot with full health numerous times and others I play with have said the same. Sometimes shots are not registering and other times they are fine. I realize it's a beta but I hope Bungie is able to correct it.
