It takes a millennium to get your super
So is it just me or is anyone else about to die of old age trying to get their super in D2?
I can't find a way to boost the charge rate either.

I also can't figure out what the value of them is in pve either. They seem so non super now what is their damn application in the game now. Of course that is the point isn't it.

3 RepliesMight it be possible that the current Beta could be like WoW's pre-expansion preview and we're just playing with the base super charge rate...and everything basically becomes playable once we buff those base stats with gear/enhancements?

As a user and abuser of the Infinite Super Glitch, I can say it made the Strike 1000x more enjoyable for me. Especially my teammates dancing and shooting me for destroying all the enemies quickly. I'd like to see a faster super charge rate.

I kinda like it makes those plays with it pretty game changing. But I definitely agree its too slowdown my liking.

I hope most understand that thesis a Beta and at the moment we don't have any exotics or gear or mods yet. Once the full game releases and etc I almost guarantee some mods will boost the super charge rates etc. If you look at the Dawn Blades perks that we can't access yet you'll notice that a lot of them help with getting grenades faster and getting your super faster. I also found that you need to work as a team in pvp and feed off each others orbs when someone on your team gets a super.

Remember, tuning of the game is an on-going effort, which will continue after the initial release. I am not talking about nerfs and buffs per se, but actual code enhancement. The super timeframe, as well as others may be as simple as a buff, or it may be a code issue that needs to be addressed. For example, in the development sand box, the super timing may actually be faster.

Agreed, @bungie please consider a buff in time for Super and abilities. You are close but throttled a lil too far back. It feels good otherwise

Seriously especially with PvP being only 4 player now all the abilities that made d1 so fun makes the d2 beta seem kinda like it wants to be a sad spacier call of duty. plus snipers feel bad in PvP and underpowered. Maybe it's just me but for Warlock I feel id rather stick with voidwalker everything just feels...underpowered and weak. The gunplay I love that is so much fun the rest not so much. Yes it's a beta but hopefully bungie will do something if they read all the comments on it.

1 ReplyI feel like the super taking 15 mins to recharge came about from bungie trying to balance pvp. I am on board with the narrative of COMPLETELY separating pve and pvp. The pve stuff in the destiny universe is way too fun to be dragged down by the salt fest that is crucible.

it does take ages for your super to charge i can't even use it once in pvp matches especially competitive

It takes 1 minute for your grenade to recharge, this is equal to having 0 discipline in Destiny 1. Your super will recharge faster come destiny 2's release

1 Replyin Destiny 1, you could use your Int to increase how fast you got your super, as well as weapons and other items. we don't have any of that in the D2 beta, maybe it's in the game

I realize (and I hope many other people do too) that this is still just a beta and this isn't the final product, but still. The recharge rate is god awful. And keep this in mind: it's not just about PvP. There's this thing called pve which makes up about a little more than half the entire game. [spoiler]So if you're here for the sole purpose of just ranting on about pvp and how it only matters there, just leave now. Because nobody will take you seriously with that kind of attitude.[/spoiler]
